Frequently Asked Questions
Are you still hesitating whether the system is a solution for you? Check our page of questions and answers and get more detailed information.
- What is InTouch CRM?
InTouch CRM is an internet information system, which helps a user to work with customers, sell products, cooperate in a team and communicate. Its purpose is mainly to increase productivity and prepare supporting information for managerial decisions.
- Who is the system for?
The system is designed for small and medium enterprise in which teamwork, sharing of information and easy communication with customers is a key to success. Many processes that InTouch CRM facilitates take place almost in every organization.
- How can it help my company?
InTouch CRM will organize information you use today. You will find what you need more easily, you will have everything in one place, available from anywhere within the network. The system makes e-mail communication, task delegation, data sharing, sales, order acquisition and other common company operations much easier.
- How long does the implementation take?
The important thing about the system is that it can do whatever you want. However, this brings the need to carefully analyze how your company wants to work with customers, what kind of information you want to record, what kind of reports you want to print, etc. It is necessary to look at company processes and based on them define features and characteristics of particular InTouch CRM components. In our experience, the system can be implemented within 3 months from the beginning of cooperation.
- What are guarantees of future development?
We consider InTouch CRM a fundamental product in our company; we lay great hopes on it, which is reflected in present customers' response to our solution. Of course all our company operates on InTouch CRM base so we are largely motivated to further develop the system. In addition, we make a public promise that if there is danger in the future that the product development may be discontinued (none of us thinks it is going to happen), we will take necessary steps to ensure continuity of development and services.
- How often are new versions released?
Almost all the time. InTouch CRM practically gets better every month.
- How is it upgraded?
System can be upgraded either remotely or in person. When doing remote upgrade, we are able to put the new system version on your server without our presence in your company. This also allows to perform upgrade when your employees are at home and a short interruption of the system doesn't interfere with their work. Upgrade usually takes 30 minutes and during that time it is not possible to use the system.
- Which operating system is supported?
InTouch CRM can work on servers with operating systems Windows NT/2000/XP, Linux, NetWare and Solaris.
- What are hardware requirements?
System performance is affected the most by SQL database performance. It is obvious that better hardware provides for better response. Minimum recommendation for a rather small company is Pentium III 1GHz, 10 GB disc free space (mainly for data). However, the system would run on a less equipped server.
- Why was Java used for system development?
Java technology brings unusual options into InTouch CRM system as far as further expandability is concerned. Java has been successfully used for implementation of really extensive systems. Java contains technologies that allow to integrate our system with a large number of other information systems and services.
- How is mobile access to information secured?
Thanks to the fact that InTouch CRM runs on a server and to use it you need only a web browser, you can connect to the system practically from anywhere. If you have a notebook and a mobile phone that supports internet connection, you can connect to the system whenever you want. At the end of 2004 the system should be extended by the option to synchronize with selected mobile equipment (PDA, phones, etc.).
- How is it secured?
The system is sufficiently secured by SSL standard protocol. This assures that data transmitted between the server and your computer cannot be intercepted. SSL protocol installation is recommended if you are going to access the system through the internet.
- Can different system users have different access rights?
Yes. System administrator sets up which user has the right to see which information.
- Can the system be integrated with the web?
Yes. InTouch CRM has interface (based on XML) for remote access from web pages. Thanks to this, it is possible to implement a web form, which will automatically save filled-out data in the system database. It is a very efficient tool to register customers on the web.
- Is it possible to integrate the system with our economic IS?
Yes. However, it requires closer cooperation with us. Considering the fact that there is no unique interface to integrate economic systems, each such integration has to be solved as a custom-extension of the system.
- Is it possible to integrate InTouch CRM with internet sales?
An internet sale is part of the system. The only thing that needs to be done is to define the appearance of sales (graphics). We will certainly help you with that.
