Example of InTouch CRM Use

  1. A new customer calls a company to order a catalog of new products. A secretary greets him, opens an internet browser window with a company system InTouch CRM in it. By looking up his last name the secretary finds out that it's a new customer and by clicking on New Contact she creates a new customer card. She fills out information that the customer gives her over the phone.
  2. She clicks Send Catalog to assign a new business case to the customer.
  3. Charles, an employee who is in charge of catalog distribution, can instantly see a new task in his CRM window. Within three days he has to mail the catalog to the address that the secretary entered into the system. He is used to doing things immediately, therefore he prints an address label and prepares an envelope with the catalog to be mailed. He clicks on "Finished" in the Send Catalog business case entry. CRM system will automatically schedule for Marketa that she has to call the customer in two weeks.
  4. Henry, a sales team manager, is on a business trip. However, it doesn't prevent him from connecting to the company InTouch CRM through his mobile phone and checking whether all team members fulfill their obligations. Above all, he needs to find out a mobile phone number of a business contact he is to meet shortly.
  5. A few days later Marketa connects to the company CRM system as usual. In a single click the system shows her what tasks she has to perform urgently. She finds out that she is supposed to call a customer who ordered a catalog two weeks ago. Therefore she picks up the phone and asks the customer how he likes the goods and whether he would like to place an order. She marks the scheduled phone call as completed.
  6. The customer was going to call himself and therefore he is pleased that Marketa called. He tells her what he needs to order and Marketa creates a new order that is automatically assigned to be handled by Pave. He works in product distribution.
  7. Henry needs to check how his department is doing. By means of InTouch CRM he is checking how many of the customers who requested catalogs ordered some goods and in what value. A few percent better than last quarter. His team works as a well oiled machine.
